MACHINE LEARNING AND ARTIFICIAL CONSCIOUSNESS
Main Article Content
Abstract
The construction of Artificial Consciousness through machine learning is possible by algorithms that can replicate the logical structures of the different hierarchy levels of human thinking. This article presents a conceptual and mathematical model for the construction of artificial consciousness based on Chomsky Hierarchy (MIDENA RAMOS; 2008). It also
demonstrates the main conceptual characteristics of human conscious which can be defined as mathematical functions and be tested through logical structures, and consequently be processed by artificially built elements. This argument leads to the conclusion that artificial consciousness is a reality that, although it would be a simulation in itself, can be perceived as reality similar to the real world perceived by humans.
